Water

September 9-10 Noblesville, IN  Julie and Maliboo really clicked at this trial.  In this attempt at the Working Water Dog title, Maliboo lost her hesitation for jumping in the water to retrieve articles and they passed easily.  Julie was so confident that they repeated on Sunday, and passed again.  Yeah, Maliboo, who lived up to her name:  GrCH Marshview Out Ridin' The Waves RN WWD CGC. This team is going for a 3-peat at the National Specialty in Lake Geneva later this month.

Conformation

8-24-12 Regional Specialty-Lake Elmo, MN. OK, folks, I am a little behind due to a wonderful - but lengthy - vacation. It is time to update news on our dogs! The PWD Club of the Twin Cities were great hosts, as always, and a good time was had by all.

Helen
Ruthie

We brought a couple of our Veteran girls for the Sweepstakes event and they did not disappoint. There were 6 entries in the 7-9 year class; Helen came in 2nd, and Ruthie (who has not set foot in a show ring in 5 years) took 4th. So proud of our senior girls!

Blake
Joey-Winners Dog
We had a couple of newbies along too:  6-9 month Joey and Blake.  Blake won the Am Bred class in his ring debut.  Joey went Best of Opposite in the Sweepstakes, then captured the 5 point major in Dogs! He showed like a pro, and now has 9 points going into the National Specialty next month.

Marshview also had 3 entries in the Best of Breed class: Maliboo, Cuervo and Sawyer. Gotta include photos of our seasoned winners Mailboo and Cuervo here, but it was Sawyer - who just turned 2 - who came away with the Award of Merit with his owner-handler.

It was a fabulous show on a beautiful day. I couldn't be there, so thanks to Julie for the photos, and the play-by-play while I was in the airport. Great group of Marshview dogs and owners - thank you to all of you!
