Barn Hunt/Agility

September 28, 2013  Maliboo just took up a new sport, and got two Novice Barn Hunt legs in her very first trial today with a 4th place:-).  Now if that isn't a "working-water-dog", I don't know what is!!  Way to go, Julie and Boo!

On the same day, Cuervo was with me in New Berlin doing agility. He scored a perfect 100 and garnered the 2nd place ribbon (we stayed under course time!) for his second Open Jumpers leg.  So proud of him charging the weaves today!

 

Conformation

September 14, 2013 Sheboygan  Journey got her 1st confirmation point this weekend!  She just reached the 9-12 month class, and went Winners Bitch for her fist championship point.  This follows her Best of Opposite Sex in Sweeps finish from the 6-9 month class at the MN Regional Specialty in August.  Our Journey has begun!

Agility

Sept.8. 2013 One day trial in Cudahy today. Cuervo and I took the summer off from agility, but this seemed like a good place to start up again.  He's competing in Open with Maliboo right now.   Standard was first and he and Maliboo finished 1-2: she with a perfect score 1st place and a new Open Agility title, he with a 2nd place and first OA leg.  In Jumpers, after slowly, meticulously - albeit correctly - completing the weaves, he had one refusal (still allowable), but it cost too much time and we did not Q.  Still, I was happy with his weaves and concentration - just need to work on that speed next! All in all a good day in agility.
