Agility

12/29/13 Oshkosh.  Maliboo picked up the last leg for her AX (Exc. Standard) title this weekend, finishing with a 3rd place ribbon and a Double Q for the day.  In Excellent Jumpers, she has now qualified in all 7 of her runs, giving her 4 legs toward her MXJ title already!  For 2013, she and owner Julie have earned 6 agility titles, 2 Barn Hunt titles and a BROM.  Quite a year for this dynamic duo!

 

Barn Hunt

12/15/13  Maliboo did it again - a new Barn Hunt title!  She got her 2nd leg on Saturday with a 1st place in the Open Large class, and the 3rd leg on Sunday for her RATO title.  She had another1st place in the Large class AND was High In Trial with the fastest time in the Open classes (she found the 2 rats in 33 seconds) :-)  Now that's a working dog!  Congrats to Boo and owner Julie.

 

Puppies!

The ultrasound is done - we have puppies coming!  Velma (CH Marshview Quite The Mystery Girl Velma) is due on January 3, 2014.  The sire is Sawyer (GCH Marshview River Of The Gods), shown here at the Eukanuba National Championship show.  This will be the first litter for both.

Dec. 5-8, 2013 Wheaton/Rosemont.  Another amazing weekend for us.  At this 4 day show, Joey took Best of Breed twice, Select on the other days.  Page "Marshview XtraXtra Read All About It" and Journey "Marshview Won't Stop Believing" shared Winners Bitch/Reserve WB honors all 4 days: Page WB Thursday for her 2nd point, Best Puppy in Sweeps on Saturday, and WB/BOW/BOS on Sunday for another point.  Friday and Saturday she was Reserve Winners Bitch to Journey.  Journey picked up her 6th and 7th points Friday and Saturday going WB/BOW/BOS.  She was Reserve to Page with competition on the other days.  Great showing for these 2 puppy girls, and some great wins for Joey!

Agility-Hounds for the Holidays

Dec. 5-6, 2013.  Another great time in Milwaukee with lots of Chicago Club PWD friends.  Julie and Maliboo were competing in Excellent.  On Thursday, Maliboo got her 3rd straight Excellent Jumpers qualifying run - 3 for 3! - for her AXJ title.  Quite an accomplishment, but Julie and Maliboo were a TEAM.  On Friday, Maliboo Q'd again in Jumpers - 4 for 4! - for her first Masters leg.  What a girl!

Nov. 7-10 Kalamazoo, MI  What a weekend!  Thursday:  Blake "Marshview Uno Blake Bear" was Winners Dog for 2 points.  Combined with his 4 recent majors, Blake earned his New Champion title!




Friday: Blake's brother Joey was Best of Breed.  In addition to getting him a trip to the Group ring, it gave him enough points for a new Grand Champion title!  Icing on the cake that day was that Joey's mom Maliboo was his Best Of Opposite Sex.

Saturday: Joey Best of Breed again.  What a thrill to watch him in the Group ring a 2nd time.





Sunday: It was the girl's turn. Page was Winners Bitch from the 6-9 month class, for her 1st point!  Brother Clipper showed great as well.

Meanwhile, in Salisbury, MD, Journey picked up a 4 point major win from the 9-12 month class.  That's 5 points already for this puppy.




And finally, in Minnesota, page and Clipper's sister Chelsea was showing with her owner-handler mom Kristine and took Breed and Puppy honors.  Way to go, team Chelsea! Wish I could have been in 3 places at once.
