Lake Elmo, MN Aug 21-24 One of our favorite shows of the year. This year we had beautiful weather and some great results: Thursday: Joey-Best of Breed, Clipper (X litter)-Best of Winners for a 4 pt. major (his 2nd), his sister Chelsea Reserve Winners Bitch.

Water

8-2-14 Congratulations to Rachel and Hogan, who went to observe the water trial in Colorado, then decided to do a same-day entry.  Hogan earned his Working Water Dog title!  With very little on-the-water training time or actual experience jumping from a boat, Rachel successfully guided Hogan through all the exercises.  What a team! Now CH Marshview Hesumkindawonderful RA CGC WWD.

Barn Hunt

June 7, 2014 Joey found both the rats to get the 3rd leg for his Open Barn Hunt title: RATO.  And he did it with a High In Trial score!

5-28-14 The M & M's arrive (Maliboo x Mister)!  Boo gave birth to 9 little firecrackers - 4 girls, 5 boys. Very robust pups!  Mom & babies are doing well.

5/2-4/2014 Jefferson County.  Great weekend for the Marshview gang!  The #1 all time PWD/Working Group dog was there making BOB tough to get.  We had two girls in the 12-18 month class needing 1 point to finish.  On Friday, Journey went Best of Opp over a Bitch special, for a 4 pt. major and New Champion! Clipper was Best of Winners for his first major. On Saturday, Journey was BOS again, and Clipper Winners Dog.  At the Supported show Sunday, it was Page's turn to go Best of Opp - now over 2 Bitch specials - for 4 pts. and New CH!  Joey was Select Dog for the 3rd time - over 4 Dog specials - and Journey was Select Bitch.  Two new Champions in one weekend, great showing by Joey, plus a major win for Clipper.  Super congrats to all our Owners!

Rally

5-2-14  Badger KC show. After a long hiatus, Cuervo and I got back in the Rally ring.  A score of 98 was enough for a green ribbon, and a new Rally Advanced title!  Good boy, Cuervo.

4/26/14  Maliboo is pregnant! AKC GCH/CanCH/UKC CH Marshview Out Ridin’ The Waves RN AX MXJ RATO WWD BROM CGC x BISS Int/BRGrCH CH Afortunado Expect the Unexpected VCD1 RE OA AXJ NF NJP THD WWD AOM GROM CGC TDI "Mister". 

Puppies are due at the end of May.  These puppies should be great conformation and performance dogs.  Maliboo was the #1 Working Bitch and #3 Brood Bitch at the 2012 National Specialty, and Mister was a Top Twenty Dog – exclusively owner-handled.  We are very excited about this litter.

4/12/14 Brighton, Colorado.  Baby Page, just barely in the 12-18 months class, scored her 2nd major today.  Page - Marshview XtraXtra Read All About It - needs just one more point to finish her championship, after just celebrating her 1st birthday, March 31.  Go Page!

Agility

4/12/14 Maliboo got her MXJ title last weekend in Oshkosh, racking up her 10 qualifying scores in 11 runs.  Today at Think Pawsitive, she got her 3rd qualifying leg toward her Masters Standard title!  Also in the groove today was Cuervo, hitting his first Q in Excellent, in his Jumpers run.  Even took home the red ribbon!  Atta boy:)  Had a good run going in Open Standard, but lost points to seconds-over-time.  No knocked bars though!

March 29-30, 2014 Journey had a great weekend in Manitowoc.  On Saturday, she got her first Best of Breed award, winning over 5 Specials!  On Sunday, she was Best of Opposite over 5 class bitches plus 1 bitch Special.  What an accomplishment for a 15 month old!  Our Minnesota boy Blake was there as well, and took Select Dog honors both days. 

Agility

2/1/14 Think Pawsitive in New Berlin.  Maliboo was dead-on with her 10th straight Q in Excellent Jumpers, but the big news today was Cuervo.  He literally "struck gold" with a 3rd Place finish in Open Jumpers for a New Title!  So proud of my big guy keeping his focus and following my lead.  A little too much enthusiasm on the table and a mis-direction from me cost him a Standard Q, but we went home pretty happy today!

January 23-25, 2014 Big combo weekend: In Grayslake on Friday, Joey was Best of Opposite, Maliboo Select Bitch with Julie handling, and Page Best of Winners for another 2 pts. (she's at 11 now!)

On Saturday and Sunday, Maliboo came back up to Oshkosh for agility where she continued her streak in Excellent Jumpers - she's at 9 straight qualifying runs now, giving her 6 legs toward her Masters title already.  Now if she could just break the jinx in Standard...

Happy birthday to the "U" litter (Maliboo x Drifter) who turned 2 on January 20th!

Puppies!

Velma's puppies arrived 1/2/14 - 8 hearty babies who, at almost 2 weeks old, are looking and moving around.  We have 5 girls and 3 boys, all wavy.  Velma is a great mom, attentive, nourishing, already bringing them toys. St. Paul 1/2-1/5/14  We had a fantastic start to the New Year in MN.  On Friday, it was all-in-the-family day:  Joey Best of Breed, Maliboo (mom) Best of Opposite Sex, and 9 mo. old Page (Maliboo daughter) Winner's Bitch for 2 points.  On Saturday, Page stunned us all when she was named Best of Opposite - over 4 Bitch Specials - for a 4 point major! That's 9 points now. Maliboo and Joey were Select out of 20+ entries.  Today,  Page stayed in the ribbons as Reserve Winner, Joey was Select, and mama Maliboo was Best of Breed!  Thanks to Julie for grooming, and our wonderful handlers Tammy, Laura and Robyn
